Pecan Pie (mom's recipe) 4 eggs 1 cup dark brown sugar 0.75 cup light corn syrup 0.5 teaspoon salt 0.25 cup melted butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 cup pecans, shelled & chopped 9 inch unabked pie crust (pilsbury) preheat oven to 400 degree F. put crust into pie plate. beat eggs well in lage bowl, add brown sugar, corn syrup, salt, melted butter and vanilla to eggs and mix thoroughly. Line bottom of pan with chopped pecans and pour mixture over pecans. arrange pecan heads around crust edge. set on middle rack of oven. bake for 10 minutes. reduce to 325 degree F and bake for another 25 to 30 minutes until set.
